Water Wings and Wildlife Festival at the Flint RiverQuarium

Let your imagination take flight when you immerse yourself in all-day fun at this year’s Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival at the Flint RiverQuarium on Saturday, September 24th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.!

Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival

Make your plans once again for the annual Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival at the Flint RiverQuarium in downtown Albany.

This annual celebration shows a little love to all the slimy, scaly, wet, winged, furry and feathery critters out there! Guests can expect several of the usual crowd-pleasers.

There’s the popular Butterfly Tent, a movie at the Imagination Theater, birds of prey shows, reptile presentations, storytelling and Discover Scuba.

Plus, there will be additional demonstrations, animal interactions, crafts, activities, food trucks on-site and more.

More about Discover Scuba

Discover Scuba is another favorite special event during the Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival at the Flint RiverQuarium that’s back. Participants ages 12 and older will have the chance to get their fins wet in the Flint RiverQuarium Blue Hole Spring.

Gain hands-on experience in all-things scuba before diving into the 22-feet deep, 175,000-gallon underwater world. Swim with the aquarium’s collection of gentle giants including Atlantic sturgeon, large striped bass, huge catfish, turtles and more.

Location

Festival-goers should make their way to the Flint RiverQuarium located at 117 Pine Ave. on the banks of Flint River.
